Maritza Hernandez
As the CFO, she utilizes her business and finance knowledge to make sure that your donations help our community members get the services they need.
Born and raised in South San Diego, Maritza provides her unique insight and experience to the organization. As the mom of two wonderful kids, wife to an awesome husband, and a passionate advocate for personal finance education. The owner of a financial coaching business helps and supports women gain the knowledge and confidence to manage their finances. She received her BA in Business Management from SDSU. She enjoys being involved in her community and serves as VPE of the Toastmasters Club Bilingüe. She loves being outdoors, running, hiking, and kayaking. Maritza is also a member of a dragon boat racing team, the Paddle Warriors, where they compete alongside Tracy and Cindy. She loves empowering other women to become better versions of themselves.
